A Little about the host:
Hey everybody, Connor "Lazer" Jones here and I’m your host here at Z ROCK. I grew up in Dripping Springs, Texas and attended Dripping Springs High School and am currently studying at Texas State university.
I discovered my love for all things hard rock at a very young age while listening to my parents Van Halen and ACDC records. As I grew up my appetite for more rock grew and I eventually turned to metal.
Today, some of my favorites include: Slipknot, Motley Crue, Alter Bridge, Trivium, Black Stone Cherry, ACDC just to name a few. I’ve been playing music since I was in first grade. I started on piano, then started playing the saxophone in the 6th grade.
Eventually I wanted to be able to play my favorite kind of rock n’ roll so I picked up guitar and bass guitar. I also embraced my inner nerd and participated in marching band in high school and was a drum major for my junior and senior year.
Music has always been a part of my life and I am very blessed to be able to broadcast my favorite music to you.
