Principle Broadcasting Foundation Corporation Mission
Purposes
This Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes including purposes to initiate, promote, encourage and support educational research with special emphasis and teaching techniques in the field of religion, education and communication. It shall be a specific purpose of the Corporation to operate one or more non-profit educational radio stations. It is the purpose of this Corporation to operate exclusively within the United States Internal Revenue Code, and it shall never be operated primarily for carrying on a trade or business for profit.
Funding
We are funded through donations of time, talent and financial resources from community members, volunteers and through corporate underwriters.
Programming
The Principle Broadcasting Foundation, will primarily offer community, family and spiritual educational programming, community events such as High School Sporting Events from the various surrounding areas will often be broadcast in addition to public awareness programs regarding community issues. Also offered will be music programming, Public Service Announcements, News and Feature Programs that are responsive to the needs and interest of the local community. The Principle Broadcasting Foundation will meet with local community leaders on a regular basis in order to ascertain the programming needs of the community.
KDRP Mission
As a part of the Principle Broadcasting Foundation our Mission is to help foster new Radio Broadcasting careers for the Residents of the Texas Hill Country and to provide 24 Hour a day, Free Local Public Radio for the Community we serve. Proceeds are used to expand Local programming, in the creation of local jobs, as support for other Not For Profit organizations, to help with Church Missions, to Broadcast Local events, and in funding new Capital projects designed to increase our coverage area.
Scholarships
KDRP is a proud member of the Texas Association of Broadcasters and has partnered with the TAB to bring scholarship opportunities for High School Students and Young Adults in the Dripping Springs area. Click logo below to find out more information about the scholarship application process.
